Diesel Mechanic

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is hiring a Diesel Technician. We are looking for qualified applicants who have a safety first mindset, can work independently, and recognize/resolve facility and vehicle maintenance problems.
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm
Pay: $26-$31/hour (depending on experience and skills)

What you can expect a typical day to look like:
  • Perform vehicle and powered equipment inspections on a regular basis
  • Schedule repairs and services with vendors as needed
  • Maintain accurate vehicle compliance files in an organized manner
  • Create a positive and productive work atmosphere by communicating and behaving in a professional and team-like manner with other employees and customers
What you will need to succeed on the job:
  • Prior experience in the transportation industry preferred
  • Ability to administer a vehicle maintenance schedule
  • College education in mechanics or working knowledge of diesel trucks or tractor trailers preferred
